Apartments in Jackson, NJ Near Golf Courses

Are you on the hunt for apartments in Jackson, NJ, near golf courses? If so, you’re in luck! The Gardens at Jackson 21 offers one and two-bedroom apartments that are ideally situated well within reach of several major local fairways that challenge golfers of all different skill levels, each situated on lush, impeccably maintained landscapes. Here are three of our favorite spots to break out the good ol’ 9-iron.

Metedeconk National Golf Club

Be prepared for a day full of golfing when you swing by this course. There are 27 holes — ranging from 5,200 to 7,200 yards each — for you to work your way through here. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Roger Rulewich, two names familiar to any avid golfer, each hole is as challenging as the course is picturesque, due to the proximity to both marsh and lowland pine forest. (As an added bonus, because of this, guests are often greeted with the appearance of deer, fox, or muskrats as they putt their way along.) In addition to the golf offered here, guests can test out their aim at sporting clay. There are eight stations for you to hone your shotgun skills.

Lakewood Country Club

Self-described as “small and fast with traps on both sides,” this 18-hole, par-72 course has been a local staple since 1896, opening at a point in time when locals were in desperate needs of a place to tee off. Today, one of the country’s oldest golf clubs invites guests to test their skills on a course that proves to be challenging for a range of skillsets. Be sure to keep an eye on their calendar for special events (like tournaments) hosted at the property or, if you want to host your own private event, you can do that for groups ranging from 20 to 150 players.

Charleston Springs Golf Course

There are 36 holes to keep you busy at the two par-72 courses here, each designed by the esteemed Mark Mungeam. Head to the North Course if your cup of tea is a more traditional links-style green, where you’ll be faced with a plethora of water hazards and bunkering. But when you head to the South Course, that same immaculately manicured lawn makes way for a classic parkland-style challenge, the green dotted with sporadic trees and native grasses. This is the one to visit for challenges that suit your level of skill, as there are four different sets of tee markers to choose from.

As you can see, finding various challenges on the green is not difficult, especially when starting from one of our apartments in Jackson, NJ, near golf courses. Contact the Gardens at Jackson 21 to schedule a tour today!
